QNAP CAB-DAC15M-Q28B4 καλώδιο InfiniBand/οπτικής ίνας 1,5 m QSFP28 μαύρο

The QNAP CAB-DAC15M-Q28B4 is a 1.5 m InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with QSFP28 connectors designed for high-speed data transmission in data centers and advanced networking environments. This cable supports reliable connectivity between QSFP28-equipped devices, providing a compact direct attach solution for short-reach links where low latency and consistent throughput are required.

Advantages

This 1.5 m QSFP28 cable combines the density and performance required for modern rack environments while minimizing link complexity. The cable delivers low-latency signal paths suitable for server-to-switch and switch-to-switch connections, and its construction ensures stable transmission characteristics under continuous operation. Compact QSFP28 terminations reduce port space usage and help maintain tidy cable management in dense installations.

Suitable for

• High-performance computing clusters and InfiniBand fabrics
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch connections in data centers
• Short-reach links requiring QSFP28 connectivity and low latency
• Environments needing compact cabling for dense rack deployments

Key specifications

• Length: 1.5 m
• Connector type: QSFP28 to QSFP28
• Media: direct attach cable suitable for InfiniBand and fiber-optic compatible interfaces
• Color: black
• Designed for short-reach, high-bandwidth links with low latency

How to use

Connect each QSFP28 connector to compatible QSFP28 ports on networking equipment such as switches, NICs, or host adapters. Ensure ports are powered down or in a safe hot-swap state if recommended by the device manufacturer before insertion or removal. Verify link status and speed in the host or switch management interface after installation to confirm proper negotiation and operation.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term operation, route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tensile strain, and keep it clear of sources of electromagnetic interference. Use the 1.5 m length for short, direct links within racks or between adjacent racks; for longer runs, select an appropriately rated alternative. Refer to equipment vendor documentation for supported port types and link configuration.
