Ψυγειοκαταψύκτης Severin RKG 8998 315 L

The Severin RKG 8998 fridge-freezer 315 L combines a 225 L refrigerator compartment with a 90 L freezer to deliver a total net capacity of 315 L. Designed as a freestanding unit with a right door hinge and a black finish, it integrates No Frost technology in both compartments and a Multi-Airflow system in the fridge to maintain consistent temperatures and reduce manual defrosting. The appliance operates at a noise level of 41 dB, corresponds to noise emission class C and climate class SN-T, and has an annual energy consumption of 240 kWh with energy efficiency class E.

Advantages

The dual No Frost systems prevent ice build-up in both fridge and freezer, reducing maintenance and preserving food quality. Multi-Airflow circulation ensures even cooling across shelves and compartments, helping to maintain stable temperatures for fresh produce. With a freezing capacity of 5 kg/24h, the freezer handles regular household freezing tasks. The appliance’s compact footprint and freestanding design allow flexible placement, while the right-hand door hinge and black finish provide a modern, discreet appearance.

How to use

Place the Severin RKG 8998 on a level, stable surface with adequate clearance from walls and heat sources to allow proper air circulation. Before first use, clean the interior with a damp cloth and allow the appliance to stand upright for the time recommended in the user manual. Connect to a properly grounded outlet and set the temperature controls according to the manual; allow several hours for the interior to reach stable temperatures before loading food. Organize food items on the fridge shelves and in the freezer drawers to allow unobstructed airflow from the Multi-Airflow vents. Observe food storage guidelines and avoid storing hot food directly inside.

Recommendations

Maintain regular door sealing checks and keep vent areas free of dust. Defrosting is not required due to No Frost technology, but periodic cleaning of shelves, door gaskets and drip trays will help sustain efficiency. For optimal energy performance, avoid prolonged door openings and allow cooled items to reach near-room temperature before placing them inside.
