Προστασία υπέρτασης Axis 5801-641 γκρι

AXIS T8061 Ethernet Surge Protector protects Ethernet network devices such as IP cameras, switches and midspans from lightning and surge currents entering via the Ethernet cable. The device is suitable for outdoor installation and can be mounted on a wall or a pole; its weatherproof enclosure provides protection against dust and water ingress. It can be placed before the cable enters a building to safeguard indoor equipment or mounted directly adjacent to outdoor Axis network cameras.

Advantages

AXIS T8061 offers reliable protection against transient overvoltages on Ethernet lines while being simple to install. The weatherproof housing allows use in outdoor environments without additional enclosures. Its compact design makes it suitable for mounting close to cameras or at cable entry points to protect connected indoor devices.

Key specifications

• Application: protection of Ethernet devices (IP cameras, switches, midspans)
• Mounting: wall or pole installation
• Enclosure: weatherproof, resistant to dust and water ingress
• Placement: outdoor mounting before cable entry or adjacent to outdoor cameras

How to use

Install AXIS T8061 on a wall or pole along the incoming Ethernet cable route. Connect the incoming cable to the protector’s input and the outgoing cable to the protected equipment. Position the unit before the cable enters the building to protect indoor devices, or mount it next to outdoor Axis network cameras for localized protection. Ensure connections are tight and that the enclosure remains sealed to preserve weatherproofing.

Recommendations

For optimal protection, install the surge protector as close as possible to the point where the cable enters the building or next to the outdoor camera. Verify grounding and follow local installation regulations and Axis installation guidelines.
