The plate is designed to fit standard 19-inch enclosures with a mounting width of 482.6 mm and is intended for panel mounting, blanking unused rack space or supporting components inside server and network racks. Each pack weighs approximately 3.38 kg and the plates provide a clean, solid closure for free locations within the mounting level.

How to use

Place the rack plate into the desired mounting position within the 19" enclosure and secure it using the appropriate screws or mounting hardware compatible with the cabinet. Ensure alignment with the mounting rails and tighten fasteners to hold the plate firmly in place. Use the plates to close unused spaces, create a mounting surface for lightweight accessories, or guide cables away from active equipment. No special tools are required beyond common cabinet fasteners.

Recommendations

To maintain proper airflow and equipment cooling, install blanking plates in any unused mounting positions aligned with front-to-back airflow. Use corrosion-appropriate fasteners if the plates are installed in humid or industrial environments. For heavy loads or accessory mounting, verify that the chosen mounting method and rails can bear the additional weight.
