Προσαρμογέας USB-WLAN/Bluetooth INTER-TECH EP-119, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) Dualband 600 Mbit/s

INTER-TECH EP-119 is a compact USB-powered wireless adapter that adds Wi‑Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity to computers and other USB-host devices. The dual-band design supports 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz operation with a combined maximum throughput up to 600 Mbit/s, enabling wireless network access and Bluetooth device pairing through a single USB connection. The adapter is finished in black and intended for easy plug-and-play installation on systems that support the included drivers or standard operating system wireless stacks.

Advantages

The INTER-TECH EP-119 provides a straightforward way to add or upgrade WLAN and Bluetooth capability without opening a device or using internal expansion slots. Dual-band Wi‑Fi support allows selection between 2.4 GHz for broader range and 5 GHz for reduced interference and higher throughput. A single USB interface supplies power and data, keeping setup simple and portable for use with desktops, laptops and compatible USB-host equipment.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Adding wireless network access to desktop PCs without built-in Wi‑Fi
• Upgrading older laptops to Wi‑Fi 5 and Bluetooth 4.2 functionality
• Connecting Bluetooth peripherals such as keyboards, mice or headsets to systems without Bluetooth
• Temporary or portable wireless networking where internal installation is not practical

When it may not be suitable

This adapter uses a standard USB interface and is designed for general-purpose WLAN and Bluetooth connectivity; it may not meet the requirements of users who need the absolute maximum throughput or advanced Wi‑Fi 6/6E features such as OFDMA or WPA3-only enterprise deployments. Devices that require industrial-grade wireless resilience or specialized antenna configurations may need an external or higher-performance solution.

Key specifications

• Wireless standard: Wi‑Fi 5 (802.11ac)
• Wi‑Fi bands: Dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 600 Mbit/s
• Bluetooth version: Bluetooth 4.2
• Host interface: USB (USB-powered)
• Product colour: Black
• Weight: 0.015 kg

How to use

Insert the INTER-TECH EP-119 into an available USB port on the host device. Allow the operating system to detect the adapter and install drivers automatically, or install the supplied drivers if automatic installation does not occur. After driver installation, use the system network settings to select a Wi‑Fi network and enter any required security credentials. Use the system Bluetooth settings to pair compatible Bluetooth peripherals. For optimal 5 GHz performance, place the adapter where it has a clear line of sight to the wireless access point and avoid metallic obstructions.

What to consider before purchase

• Check that your operating system supports the adapter drivers or that compatible drivers are available.
• Ensure you have an available USB port and that USB power delivery is sufficient for the device.
• Consider whether Wi‑Fi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 4.2 meet your performance and security requirements compared with newer standards.
• Verify that the dual-band capability aligns with your wireless network (2.4 GHz and/or 5 GHz).

Recommendations

For stable throughput, connect to the 5 GHz band when close to the access point; switch to 2.4 GHz when greater range is needed. Keep adapter drivers up to date and place the adapter away from large metal objects or USB hubs that may cause interference.
