Προσαρμογέας USB ACT AC7460 βύσμα USB-A σε υποδοχή USB-C 24 ακίδων, 20 cm, 5 Gbit/s

ACT AC7460 is a compact USB adapter that converts a USB A male plug to a 24‑pin USB‑C female connector. The 20 cm cable supports data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps and is designed to connect USB‑C devices or cables to USB‑A hosts for file exchange and device charging where protocol and power compatibility allow. The adapter provides a straightforward physical connection between legacy USB‑A ports on older laptops, desktops and hubs and modern USB‑C peripherals, enabling data transfer with full-speed USB 3.0 throughput when both ends and cables support the standard.

Advantages

The adapter combines a short, flexible 20 cm lead with a plated USB A male and a 24‑pin USB‑C female contact set to maintain signal integrity for high‑speed data transfer up to 5 Gbps. Its compact form factor reduces strain on ports and fits into tight workspaces, while the unibody cable design simplifies plugging and unplugging. No drivers are typically required for standard USB mass storage, input devices and many peripherals, ensuring plug‑and‑play convenience with compatible hosts and devices.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB‑C flash drives or external SSDs to computers with USB‑A ports for data transfer (up to 5 Gbps where supported).
• Using USB‑C peripherals such as keyboards, mice or webcams with USB‑A equipped laptops and desktops.
• Charging small USB‑C devices from a USB‑A port when the host supplies compatible charging current.
• Temporary connections in office, home or travel scenarios where a short adapter cable is convenient.

Key specifications

• Connector A: USB A male
• Connector B: 24‑pin USB‑C female
• Cable length: 20 cm
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 5 Gbps (USB 3.0 / USB 3.1 Gen 1 class)
• Suitable signal: USB data and power lines compatible with USB‑A host and USB‑C device limitations
• Compatibility: Designed for connecting USB‑C devices to USB‑A hosts; functionality depends on device and host protocol and power support

How to use

Plug the USB A male end into an available USB‑A port on your computer or host device. Insert a USB‑C cable or device into the 24‑pin USB‑C female connector. After connection, the host operating system should recognise compatible devices automatically; transfer files or use connected peripherals as usual. For charging, ensure the host port provides sufficient current and that the connected device accepts charging over a USB‑A to USB‑C connection. Disconnect by gently pulling the adapter by its connector housing to avoid stress on ports.

Recommendations

Use the adapter for data transfer and peripheral connection tasks that match USB‑A host capabilities. Avoid using it where full USB‑C power delivery, alternate mode video (DisplayPort/HDMI), or protocols requiring USB‑C host negotiation are necessary, as those functions are not guaranteed. For reliable high‑speed transfers, use quality USB‑C cables rated for 5 Gbps or higher and keep cable runs short.
