Προσαρμογέας PoE Axis 01148-001

AXIS T8129-E Outdoor Power over Ethernet Extender extends Ethernet and PoE beyond the standard 100 m (328 ft) limit without requiring an additional power supply. Designed for use with Axis network video products and other PoE devices, the extender allows you to add one unit for each additional 100 m (328 ft) of cable to reach greater distances while maintaining full-rate network throughput. The device is housed in an IP66/IP67-rated enclosure to resist harsh outdoor conditions and wide temperature ranges. Both Ethernet ports auto-configure for link speed, duplex and crossover.

Advantages

The AXIS T8129-E enables longer cable runs for PoE installations without extra power sources, preserving data throughput and simplifying network layout. Its robust IP66/IP67 enclosure provides protection against dust and water, allowing deployment in challenging outdoor environments. Auto-configuring Ethernet ports reduce setup complexity, and support for standard PoE devices ensures compatibility with Axis cameras and other PoE-powered equipment.

Suitable for

• Extending PoE connections for Axis network cameras
• Outdoor PoE installations where power outlets are not available
• Long-distance links for IP devices such as cameras and access points
• Industrial or harsh-environment network deployments

Key specifications

• Model: AXIS T8129-E
• Function: Outdoor PoE extender for Ethernet and power
• Maximum extension: Add one extender per additional 100 m (328 ft) of cable beyond 100 m
• Ingress protection: IP66/IP67
• Auto-negotiation: Link speed, duplex and crossover auto-configure
• Compatibility: Designed for Axis network video products and standard PoE devices

How to use

Install the AXIS T8129-E inline on the Ethernet cable where you need to extend the run beyond 100 m (328 ft). Connect the upstream cable from the PoE switch or injector to one Ethernet port and continue the downstream cable from the other port toward the PoE device. If further distance is required, add one extender for every additional 100 m (328 ft). Ensure cable terminations and connectors are properly sealed for outdoor installation and follow local cabling standards.

Recommendations

Use high-quality outdoor-rated Ethernet cable (Cat5e or higher) and ensure proper grounding and conduit where applicable. Verify PoE power budget and device compatibility before mounting multiple extenders in a single link to ensure sufficient power delivery to the end device.
