Προσαρμογέας Κάρτας Διεπαφής RS-232 Trendnet TU-S4 USB Type-B Υποδοχή Μαύρο

The TRENDnet TU-S4 is a 4-port USB-to-serial RS232 hub that enables connection of up to four RS232 devices, such as modems, printers or other serial peripherals, to a single USB port on a desktop PC or laptop. The unit includes an integrated 1 m USB cable and uses a USB Type-B host interface. It is compatible with Windows and Mac operating systems and has a compact passive-cooled design with 5 V output and typical power consumption around 3 W.

Advantages

The TU-S4 provides four independent RS232 serial ports in a single compact hub, simplifying the addition of legacy serial devices to modern computers. Integrated cabling and plug-and-play setup ensure straightforward installation, while broad OS compatibility (Windows and Mac) supports a variety of applications and drivers. The passive cooling design requires no fans and helps maintain quiet, reliable operation.

Suitable for

• Connecting serial printers and modems to modern computers
• Integrating laboratory equipment or industrial controllers with RS232 interfaces
• Adding multiple serial ports to laptops or desktops for software development and testing
• Point-of-sale systems that require legacy serial peripherals

Key specifications

• Model: TRENDnet TU-S4
• Interface: USB to RS232 (4 ports)
• USB connector: USB Type-B host; integrated 1 m (3 ft) USB cable
• Supported OS: Windows (including Windows 10, 8, 7, Server) and Mac

How to use

Connect the TU-S4's integrated USB cable to an available USB port on your computer. Attach your RS232 devices to the hub's serial connectors using standard RS232 cables. Install any required drivers or software for your operating system if prompted; many systems will recognize the hub automatically. Once connected and drivers are installed, configure your serial communication settings (baud rate, parity, data bits, stop bits) within your application or device manager.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use standard RS232 cables of appropriate length and avoid running serial cables parallel to high-voltage power lines. Ensure correct COM port settings in your software and keep the hub in a well-ventilated area to maintain passive cooling effectiveness.
