Προσαρμογέας DVI-A VGA 15-Pin Gembird A-DVI-VGA-BK

The Gembird A-DVI-VGA-BK is a DVI-A to VGA 15-pin gender changer in a black metallic housing designed to provide a reliable physical connection between a DVI-A source and a VGA display. It allows conversion of a DVI-A connector to a VGA 15-pin interface for compatibility with older monitors and projectors while maintaining a compact form factor.

Advantages

The adapter offers reliable fixing by screws and a strong plastic case with a metallic finish, ensuring stable mechanical connection and resistance to everyday wear. Its simple passive design requires no power or drivers and is compatible with devices that output analog DVI-A signals.

Suitable for

• Connecting a DVI-A output from a graphics card or device to a VGA monitor
• Using legacy VGA projectors with equipment that provides DVI-A
• Temporary workstation setups where a physical adapter is needed for analog video

How to use

Align the DVI-A connector with the DVI-A port on the source device, insert the adapter firmly and secure it using the fixing screws to prevent looseness. Connect the VGA cable from the display to the VGA 15-pin side and tighten the VGA connector screws. Ensure the source device outputs an analog DVI-A signal; digital-only DVI outputs (DVI-D) are not compatible with this adapter.

Recommendations

Use this adapter only with devices that support analog DVI-A signals. Avoid excessive bending or pulling on cables and periodically check screw tightness to maintain a stable connection.
