The DeLOCK Adapter DisplayPort 1.1 male to DVI female (0.15 m) is a passive adapter that allows connection of a DVI monitor to a system with a free DisplayPort. Its compact 0.15 m length and white finish provide a discrete, space-saving link between DisplayPort-equipped laptops or desktops and DVI-D displays.

Advantages

This passive DisplayPort to DVI adapter supports reliable video transmission from a DisplayPort source to a DVI-D monitor without requiring external power. The short 0.15 m cable reduces cable clutter and the white housing matches light-coloured setups. As a simple plug-and-play solution, it facilitates quick connection between DisplayPort 1.1 outputs and DVI displays.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop with DisplayPort output to a DVI-D monitor
• Connecting a desktop graphics card DisplayPort to a DVI display
• Temporary or permanent setups where a short adapter cable is preferred

• Connector 2: DVI-D (female)

How to use

Insert the DisplayPort male connector into the device's DisplayPort output and connect the DVI-D cable from the monitor to the adapter's DVI female port. Ensure both devices are powered off when making the connection, then power them on and select the appropriate input on the monitor. No drivers or external power are required for standard video use.
