How to use

Install the surface-mounted insert into a compatible System 55 frame or mounting box following local electrical regulations and safety standards. Ensure power is switched off at the circuit breaker before wiring. Connect live, neutral and protective earth conductors to the designated terminals and secure them according to the manufacturer's torque specifications. After wiring, attach the cover and test the outlet with an appropriate voltage tester to confirm correct operation and grounding before connecting equipment.

Recommendations

Use this Schuko socket-outlet in locations protected from direct weather exposure; IP44 rating provides splash resistance but is not suitable for full outdoor immersion or prolonged direct rain. For outdoor or high-exposure installations consider additional protective enclosures or higher IP-rated products. Regularly inspect the cover and contacts for wear, and disconnect power before maintenance.
