Πρίζα κεραίας SAT+BK ShiverPeaks 15-93011 1 dB F&E

The ShiverPeaks Antenna Socket SAT+BK 1 dB R&D (model for SAT and BK signals) is a wall-mount outlet that combines satellite and terrestrial/cable connections in a single faceplate. Designed for research, development and compact installation environments, it provides a low insertion loss of 1 dB and a standardized connector interface for connecting satellite receivers and terrestrial/cable tuners. The unit is intended for fixed indoor mounting where a dual-signal outlet is required without separate wall plates.

Advantages

This combined SAT+BK socket offers a compact single-outlet solution that reduces wall clutter and simplifies cabling by providing both satellite and cable/terrestrial feeds from one point. With a measured insertion loss of 1 dB it minimises signal attenuation for typical consumer and lab applications. The product uses reliable terminal/clamp connection technology for secure cable attachment and allows straightforward integration into residential or development setups where space and signal integrity matter.

Suitable for

• Connecting satellite receivers and set-top boxes in homes or labs
• Desktop or bench installations in research and development environments
• Compact residential installations where a combined SAT and terrestrial/cable outlet is preferred

Key specifications

• Connector types: combined SAT and BK outlet on a single faceplate
• Insertion loss: 1 dB (typical)
• Mounting: wall-mounted faceplate for indoor installation
• Cable termination: clamp/terminal connection technology for coaxial cables
• Application: supports satellite (SAT) and terrestrial/cable (BK) signal distribution

How to use

Mount the socket on a standard electrical or low-voltage mounting box following local installation rules. Terminate the incoming coaxial cables using the provided clamp/terminal connections, ensuring secure contact and correct polarity for satellite and terrestrial lines. Attach the appropriate connectors to the satellite receiver and terrestrial/cable tuner. After installation, verify signal levels and reception quality with a receiver or signal meter to confirm the 1 dB insertion loss meets system requirements.

Recommendations

For best performance, use quality coaxial cable with appropriate shielding and check connector tightness periodically. When used in research or development setups, label each feed to avoid signal routing errors and perform signal level measurements after installation to ensure compatibility with downstream equipment.
