MetzConnect 1501107G01HC is a compact network junction box with a white ABS/PC housing measuring 100×35×85 mm. It is designed to protect cable connections and small network components in installations that require a discreet and durable enclosure. The combination of ABS and polycarbonate provides a balance of impact resistance and dimensional stability while the neutral white finish fits residential and commercial interiors.

Advantages

The housing construction from ABS and polycarbonate ensures mechanical strength and resistance to everyday wear. Its compact external dimensions allow installation in confined spaces without obstructing surrounding elements. The white surface offers good visual integration with most wall and ceiling finishes and is easy to clean. The enclosure provides a secure environment for cable splices, connector blocks, and small passive components, reducing exposure to dust and accidental contact.

Suitable for

• Protecting LAN cable splices and RJ45 keystone jacks in wall-mounted installations
• Housing small network adapters, passive splitters or terminal blocks in offices and homes
• Use in tight or shallow cavities where a low-profile enclosure is required

Key specifications

• Material: ABS/polycarbonate blend providing rigidity and impact resistance
• Colour: white finish suitable for visible installations
• External dimensions (W×D×H): 100 × 35 × 85 mm
• Application: enclosure for cable connections and small network components
• Mounting: surface-mountable in confined spaces

How to use

Place the junction box at the intended installation point and mark mounting holes according to the box footprint. Route network cables into the enclosure through the provided entry points or knockouts, arrange and terminate cables or connectors inside, and secure any internal components to prevent movement. Close the housing and fasten with the supplied screws or compatible fasteners to maintain a secure seal. Ensure that cable bends meet minimum radius requirements and that connections are strain-relieved where needed.

Recommendations

Install the junction box in locations protected from direct moisture and extreme temperatures. For installations with active electronics or power supplies, ensure adequate ventilation and use separate enclosures if heat dissipation is a concern. Periodically inspect cable terminations and the enclosure integrity during maintenance checks.
