Πριόνι Metabo KS 55 FS SET

The Metabo KS 55 FS SET is a compact circular saw designed for precise straight and angled cuts. It is powered by a 1200 W motor and uses a 16 cm blade to deliver efficient cutting performance in a small, easy-to-handle body. The tool's maximum idle speed of 5600 RPM and a cutting depth of up to 55 mm at 90° make it suitable for a wide range of wood- and panel-processing tasks. With an adjustable angle range from 0° to 47° and a narrow footprint (242 mm width, 327 mm depth, 235 mm height), the saw is intended for both site work and workshop use where space and portability matter.

Advantages

The saw combines a high-power 1200 W drive with a compact design that facilitates handling and transport. Its 16 cm blade and 5600 RPM idle speed enable clean, consistent cuts while the adjustable bevel up to 47° expands its versatility for mitre and bevel work. Precise cutting depth control and straightforward angle settings support repeatable results. The reduced overall dimensions make storage easier and allow use with various guides or track systems.

Suitable for

• Crosscuts and rip cuts in solid wood and sheet materials
• Bevel and mitre cuts up to 47° for joinery and framing
• On-site carpentry and renovation tasks requiring a portable saw
• Workshop projects where a compact, powerful circular saw is needed

Key specifications

• Motor power: 1200 W
• Blade diameter: 160 mm
• Maximum no-load speed: 5600 RPM
• Maximum cutting depth at 90°: 55 mm
• Bevel/angle setting range: 0°–47°
• Compact dimensions: 242 mm (W) × 327 mm (D) × 235 mm (H)

How to use

Before operation, fit a compatible 160 mm saw blade and check blade tightness and guard movement. Set the desired cutting depth and angle using the depth stop and bevel adjustment; make a trial cut on scrap material to confirm settings. Secure the workpiece against movement and operate the saw with both hands on the handles, allowing the tool to reach full speed before engaging the cut. Maintain a steady feed rate—do not force the saw—and let the blade complete the cut before withdrawing. After use, disconnect power and allow the blade to stop before making adjustments or storing the saw.

Recommendations

Use blades matched to the material and task (e.g., fine-tooth blades for plywood or laminate, general-purpose blades for solid wood). Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, ensure proper clamping of workpieces, and use dust extraction or a vacuum connection where available to maintain visibility and reduce airborne dust during prolonged use.
