MACLEAN MCE248 F/B is a compact power splitter designed to distribute mains electricity and provide fast USB charging. The unit offers three AC sockets — one rated 16A and two rated 6A — together with four USB ports: two USB‑A and two USB‑C that support Power Delivery up to 20W. The device is intended for situations where several appliances and mobile devices must be powered or charged at the same time, including home, office, and travel environments.

Advantages

The MACLEAN MCE248 F/B integrates multiple power outputs in a single compact enclosure, reducing the need for separate adapters and saving space. The combination of a high‑current 16A socket and two 6A sockets allows connection of different types of appliances while maintaining appropriate current distribution. Built‑in USB‑C Power Delivery (20W) and USB‑A ports enable simultaneous charging of smartphones, tablets and USB accessories without occupying AC sockets. The splitter's design simplifies cable management and offers a centralized power solution for mixed device setups.

How to use

Plug the MACLEAN MCE248 F/B into a suitable mains socket. Connect appliances to the AC outlets according to their rated current demands, using the 16A socket for higher current needs and the 6A sockets for lower power devices. Insert USB‑A or USB‑C cables into the appropriate ports to charge mobile devices; devices that support USB Power Delivery will negotiate up to 20W on the USB‑C ports. Avoid exceeding the rated current for each AC outlet and distribute loads to prevent overloading a single socket.

Recommendations

Use the 16A socket for appliances with higher current draw and the 6A sockets for chargers, lamps, or low‑power equipment. Do not connect appliances whose combined current draw exceeds safe limits for household wiring or the individual outlet ratings. Keep the splitter in a well‑ventilated area, avoid covering it during operation, and regularly inspect cables and plugs for damage. For devices requiring continuous high current, verify device specifications and ensure proper ventilation and load distribution.
