How to use

Place the Eaton Protection Box on a flat surface or mount it where the connected devices and the 1.5 m cable can reach standard Type E sockets. Connect the power strip to a properly rated wall outlet, then plug devices into the six AC outlets. Ensure the total load does not exceed the ratings of the building circuit and follow local electrical codes. Periodically inspect the cable and housing for signs of damage; disconnect and replace the unit if protection components show visible failure.

Recommendations

Do not use the power strip in damp or wet locations, avoid daisy-chaining multiple surge protectors, and do not connect high-current appliances (such as heaters or ovens) to the unit. For continued protection after a major surge, replace the unit according to the manufacturer’s guidance or if internal protection indicators (if present) show activation.
