AS Schwabe 38616 is a 6-socket extension lead without a switch that increases the number of available mains outlets in one compact unit. Designed for straightforward power distribution, this extension lead provides six standard sockets suitable for connecting chargers, lamps, computer peripherals and other mains-powered devices in homes, offices or workshops. The model omits an integrated on/off switch for a simple, space-saving design and continuous power delivery where switch control is not required.

Advantages

The extension lead offers six evenly spaced sockets in a single housing to reduce the need for multiple adaptors and to improve cable arrangement. Its compact form factor allows placement on desks, behind entertainment units or in utility areas without occupying excessive space. With a focus on basic functionality, the unit provides a reliable method to expand a single wall outlet into multiple mains connections, enabling simultaneous operation of several devices.

How to use

Plug the extension lead into a grounded wall socket and arrange connected device plugs into the six available sockets. Ensure the total combined current of connected devices does not exceed the wall outlet or any circuit limits. Position the unit so that ventilation around enclosed plugs is not obstructed and route cables to avoid trip hazards or mechanical strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use the extension lead for multiple low- and medium-power devices rather than a single high-draw appliance. Regularly inspect the housing and cable for damage and avoid placing the unit in wet or high-humidity environments. Do not attempt internal repairs; consult a qualified electrician if faults are detected.
