AS Schwabe 38609 is a 5-socket power strip in black and blue with an integrated on/off switch, designed to supply mains power to several devices from a single outlet. The compact housing contains five AC sockets arranged to accept standard plugs while keeping connected cables organized. The built-in switch enables simple central control of power to all connected devices without unplugging cords.

Advantages

The power strip offers centralized on/off control with a single switch, reducing the need to repeatedly plug and unplug equipment. Its five sockets allow simultaneous connection of multiple devices, saving wall outlets and improving cable arrangement. The casing and socket layout are suitable for both small office and home setups where multiple low- to medium-power devices are used. The color contrast of black and blue aids quick visual identification of the unit among other equipment.

How to use

Place the power strip on a stable flat surface or mount it where accessible to the wall outlet. Connect the power strip to a mains socket using its mains lead. Plug devices into the available AC outlets and use the integrated switch to turn power on or off to all connected devices. Do not overload the strip by connecting appliances whose combined current draw exceeds typical household socket capacity; distribute high-power devices to separate dedicated outlets if necessary.

Recommendations

Use the power strip for low- to medium-power electronics and office equipment. Avoid permanent connection of high-power appliances such as heaters, kettles, or ovens. Keep the unit away from liquids and ensure adequate ventilation around the casing. Inspect the cord and housing periodically and discontinue use if damage is visible.
