Πολυεργαλείο Knipex Kombizange 03 06 200

The Knipex Kombizange 03 06 200 lineman's pliers are a 200 mm multi-purpose hand tool designed for gripping, twisting and cutting flat and round material as well as soft and hard wire. Constructed from forged special tool steel with oil hardening and a plastic handle, these pliers combine long cutting edges for thicker cables with induction-hardened cutting zones (approx. 60 HRC) for improved durability and reliable leverage for electrical and general maintenance tasks.

Advantages

Gripping zones are shaped for secure handling of both flat and round material, while long cutting edges allow the tool to cut thicker cables. Cutting edges are induction hardened to approximately 60 HRC for extended service life. The pliers are forged from special tool steel and oil-hardened for strength and wear resistance, and the 200 mm length provides comfortable leverage for precision work.

Suitable for

• Gripping and holding flat metal strips and round wires
• Cutting soft and hard electrical wire
• Cutting thicker cables where longer cutting edges are required
• General electrical installation and maintenance tasks

How to use

Position the gripping zones on the material to hold or twist wires securely. For cutting, place the wire into the cutting edges as close to the pivot as practical for maximum leverage, then squeeze the handles evenly until the wire is cut. Use the long cutting edges for thicker cables and ensure the correct orientation when cutting hard wire to use the induction-hardened section effectively. Maintain a firm, controlled grip on the handles to avoid slippage during use.

Recommendations

Inspect cutting edges before use and avoid cutting hardened steel beyond the tool’s intended capacity. Keep the pliers clean and lightly oiled to prevent corrosion, and store them in a dry place. For electrical work, follow applicable safety procedures and de-energize circuits before cutting or gripping live conductors.
