Πολυεργαλείο ηλεκτρολόγου Knipex NexStrip 12 72 190 SB – εργαλείο απογύμνωσης και πρέσας

Knipex electrician's multi-tool NexStrip 12 72 190 SB is a compact combination tool that integrates wire stripping, cutting and crimping functions for electrical work. Designed for both professional electricians and skilled hobbyists, the NexStrip simplifies routine wiring tasks by replacing multiple separate tools with a single, easy-to-handle instrument. The tool is intended for use on insulated cables and conductors commonly found in installation and maintenance jobs, enabling accurate insulation removal, conductor cutting and reliable terminal crimping.

Advantages

The NexStrip combines precise stripping slots, a cutting edge and a crimping section in one ergonomic body, reducing tool changes during a job. Its compact design improves access in confined spaces and on-site environments. Built to support repeated use, the tool provides consistent stripping lengths and uniform crimping, which helps maintain quality and safety in electrical connections. The integrated functions reduce the number of items carried by technicians and streamline wire preparation workflows.

Suitable for

• Stripping insulation from single and multi-core cables used in residential and commercial wiring
• Cutting conductor ends and trimming wires to length
• Crimping insulated and non-insulated terminals for secure electrical connections
• Maintenance, repair and installation tasks in confined or hard-to-reach spaces

Key specifications

• Integrated functions: insulation stripping, conductor cutting, crimping
• Ergonomic, compact form factor for use in confined spaces
• Suitable conductor sizes and insulation types: designed for common electrical cables (see manufacturer's guidelines for exact cable ranges)
• Durable metal construction for repeated mechanical use
• Hand-friendly grip surface to support precise handling

How to use

Position the cable in the appropriate stripping slot and close the tool to cut through the insulation without damaging the conductor. Withdraw the tool along the cable to remove the insulation to the required length. Use the cutting edge to trim conductors to the desired dimension. Place the terminal in the crimping section and compress the handles until the crimp is complete. Verify the stripped length and the integrity of the crimped connection visually and, where required, by pull test or electrical continuity check.

Recommendations

Follow standard electrical safety practices: disconnect power before working on live circuits, wear appropriate personal protective equipment, and consult cable and terminal specifications to match conductor sizes to the tool's capabilities. Periodically inspect the tool for wear or damage and keep cutting edges clean for consistent performance.
