PoE-Injector kti networks KPOE-800-HP 8-Port High-Power PoE-Injector

The kti networks KPOE-800-HP 8-port high power PoE injector supplies both power and data to compatible Power over Ethernet devices through eight independent Ethernet outputs. Designed for installations where centralized power is preferred over individual adapters, this PoE injector simplifies wiring by delivering consolidated DC power and network connectivity to IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones and other PoE-capable endpoints. The device supports high-power delivery per port to accommodate devices with greater power demands while maintaining a compact, rack- or shelf-friendly footprint.

Advantages

This 8-port high power PoE injector reduces the need for separate power supplies at each endpoint by combining data and power delivery over a single Ethernet cable. It supports centralized power management that simplifies installation and maintenance, and the multi-port layout reduces cable clutter and electrical outlets in both commercial and residential deployments. The injector is suitable for retrofitting sites without inline PoE switches and for expanding networked device installations without replacing existing network infrastructure.

How to use

Install the injector near your network switch or router and connect the switch's Ethernet output to the injector's data input. Connect each PoE-capable device to one of the eight PoE output ports using standard Ethernet cables. Ensure the injector is connected to an appropriate AC power source and verify that connected devices receive power and network connectivity. Follow any device-specific setup procedures for cameras, access points or phones once they are powered.

Recommendations

Place the injector in a ventilated area and avoid obstructing airflow around the unit. Use Cat5e or higher-rated Ethernet cables for best performance, and verify device power requirements before connecting to ensure the injector can supply adequate power per port. For installations involving many devices or long cable runs, check voltage drop considerations and, if necessary, plan for intermediate powering or shorter cable lengths.
