The Keychron V6 Max Full-size (100%) RF Wireless + Bluetooth Mechanical RGB Black/Grey is a full-size mechanical keyboard designed for versatile use in workplace and home setups. It supports 2.4 GHz RF wireless, Bluetooth connection and wired operation, and features a 100% layout with dedicated numeric keypad. The keyboard is built with a gasket mount design, internal sound-absorbing foam and double-shot PBT keycaps for consistent feel and durability. RGB LED backlighting provides adjustable illumination across the keys while the supplied keycap sets include both Mac and Windows legends for cross-platform compatibility.

Advantages

The V6 Max offers a full-size layout that preserves the standard key spacing and a numeric keypad, making it suitable for data entry, spreadsheets and traditional desktop workflows. Its RF Wireless and Bluetooth connectivity allow stable wireless use with reduced latency while wired mode ensures uninterrupted power and configuration when needed. The gasket mount construction combined with foam damping and screw-in stabilizers reduces typing noise and improves acoustic response. Double-shot PBT keycaps resist wear and maintain legends over time, and the inclusion of both Mac and Windows keycaps simplifies switching between systems.

How to use

Connect the Keychron V6 Max using the preferred mode: pair via Bluetooth for multi-device use, connect the 2.4 GHz RF dongle for a low-latency wireless connection, or plug a USB cable for wired operation and configuration. Use the included keycaps to select Mac or Windows legends as needed. Adjust keyboard height with the built-in feet and customize RGB lighting and key mappings through the keyboard’s firmware or companion configuration tools. For initial setup, ensure the battery is charged if using wireless modes and follow standard pairing procedures for Bluetooth or plug the RF receiver into an available USB port.

Recommendations

Place the keyboard on a stable, flat surface and allow time for firmware updates before customizing layouts. For quieter typing and prolonged durability, ensure stabilizers are correctly installed and consider using compatible switch lubing or keycap rotation as part of regular maintenance. When using wireless modes, keep the RF receiver in direct line of sight for optimal signal and recharge the device regularly to avoid interruptions.
