Πιρούνι κήπου Fiskars ξύλινη λαβή, 4 δόντια, μοντέλο 250

Fiskars garden fork with a wooden shaft, four tines, model 250, is designed for turning soil, loosening compacted beds and lifting roots or compost. The fork combines durable steel tines with a traditional wooden handle that provides comfortable grip and natural shock absorption during prolonged use. Its construction is aimed at general garden and allotment tasks where reliable penetration and leverage are required to prepare and maintain soil.

Advantages

The four hardened steel tines offer consistent penetration and resistance to bending while digging into clay, loam or compost. A wooden shaft reduces vibration transfer to the hands and supplies a familiar, ergonomic feel that many gardeners prefer. The simple, robust design allows effective leverage when lifting roots or turning over soil, and the fork’s weight balance supports controlled handling during repeated use.

Suitable for

• Turning and aerating vegetable beds and flower borders
• Loosening compacted garden soil and breaking up clods
• Lifting compost, weed roots and garden debris
• Preparing soil before planting or sowing

Key specifications

• Handle material: wooden shaft for reduced vibration and traditional grip
• Tine configuration: four tines for balance between penetration and control
• Tine material: hardened steel for durability and resistance to bending
• Primary use: soil turning, aeration and lifting organic material in garden plots

How to use

Plant the tines into the ground at a slight angle and push down on the shaft to drive them through compacted soil. Use a rocking motion or leverage from the foot step (if present on the fork head) to lift and turn soil or to extract roots and compost. Work in rows across the bed, taking care to avoid excessive force that can stress the handle connection. After use, clean off soil and debris and allow the wooden shaft to dry naturally to preserve its condition.

Recommendations

Store the fork in a dry place and periodically check the tine-to-shaft junction for tightness. Apply light oil to the wooden shaft yearly to maintain wood integrity, and sharpen or replace tines if they become excessively worn to ensure safe, efficient operation.
