Pigtails οπτικών ινών Digitus LC OM4 50/125 µ Simplex 2m

Future-oriented standards and high-end quality for your network. The DIGITUS® Fiber Optic Colored Pigtails are available in LC Simplex, SC Simplex and ST Simplex versions and provide best performance and link quality in classes OS2, OM2, OM3 and OM4. Each connector uses a zirconia ceramic ferrule and the pigtails have colored buffers coded according to IEC 304 for clear identification.

Advantages

Color-coded buffers simplify identification and installation in patch panels and distribution frames. Zirconia ceramic ferrules ensure low insertion loss and stable optical performance. Multiple connector types (LC, SC, ST) and fiber classes (OS2, OM2, OM3, OM4) allow compatibility with a wide range of network equipment and link requirements.

Key specifications

• Connector types: LC Simplex, SC Simplex, ST Simplex
• Fiber classes: OS2, OM2, OM3, OM4
• Ferrule material: zirconia ceramic
• Color coding: IEC 304 (white, violet, turquoise, black, red, pink, orange, gray, green, yellow, brown, blue)
• Connector standard: IEC 61754-4 (2002)

How to use

Choose the appropriate connector type and fiber class for your network link. Route the pigtail to the intended port or splice point, strip and prepare the fiber according to standard fiber handling procedures, and terminate or splice the pigtail following the equipment manufacturer's instructions. Use the color-coded buffer to identify individual fibers during installation and testing.

Recommendations

Handle pigtails with clean tools and in a clean environment to avoid contamination of ferrules. Verify connector type and fiber class compatibility with existing infrastructure before installation, and perform insertion loss and continuity tests after termination or splicing.
