Παθητικό DI box Omnitronic LH-053 1 κανάλι, παθητικό direct box για όργανο/γραμμή

The Omnitronic LH-053 is a passive 1-channel DI (direct injection) box designed to connect instruments or line-level sources to mixing consoles and PA systems. As a passive unit, it requires no external power and provides impedance matching and signal balancing to reduce noise and ground-loop hum. The compact metal housing and straightforward one-channel design make the unit suitable for both stage and studio use where reliable, low-maintenance DI conversion is required.

Advantages

The passive design eliminates the need for batteries or phantom power, providing a simple, maintenance-free solution. Balanced output and impedance matching minimise interference and allow long cable runs without significant signal degradation. Rugged construction in a compact form factor ensures durable operation in live environments and easy integration into existing setups. Switches and connectors are arranged for intuitive operation during quick stage changes or studio sessions.

How to use

Connect the instrument or line-level source to the input jack and run an XLR cable from the balanced output to the mixing console or PA input. If ground-loop hum occurs, use the ground-lift option to isolate the DI box ground from the console ground. No power connection is necessary; simply place the unit where it is protected from physical damage and within reach of the required cables. For best results, use quality instrument cables and balanced XLR cables for the output.

Recommendations

Place the DI box away from high-power transformers and stage lighting transformers to reduce electromagnetic interference. When connecting active pickup instruments, verify the input level and, if available, use pad or attenuation features on the mixer to avoid clipping. Regularly check connectors for wear and clean contacts as part of routine maintenance.
