The Arat BATT706.3 passive holder for Navigator Black is a vehicle-mounted accessory designed to keep a navigation device securely positioned while driving. With a slim black appearance, this holder provides a stable, non-powered mounting solution that is compatible with a range of navigator models. It is intended for in-car use and focuses on reliable retention and unobtrusive styling to fit most vehicle interiors.

Advantages

The passive design requires no power connection or electronics, reducing installation complexity and potential interference with the vehicle electrical system. Its neutral black finish integrates discreetly into dashboards and windscreen mounting points. The holder secures compatible navigator devices firmly in place to reduce vibration and movement during travel, while maintaining easy access to the device screen and controls.

Suitable for

• Mounting a portable car navigator or GPS unit for road navigation
• Keeping a navigation device accessible during long-distance driving
• Temporary or semi-permanent installation in passenger vehicles

Key specifications

• Form factor: passive holder for in-car mounting
• Color: black
• Compatibility: fits multiple navigator models (standard portable GPS dimensions)
• Power: no power required
• Mounting location: dashboard or windscreen compatible (vehicle-dependent)

How to use

Position the holder on the chosen mounting surface in the vehicle and secure it according to the included mounting method (adhesive, suction, or clip, depending on the variant). Insert the navigator into the holder until it is held firmly; verify that the device is stable and the screen remains visible from the driver’s seating position. Adjust the angle as needed to reduce glare and ensure clear sightlines without obstructing the windshield.

Recommendations

Install the holder on a clean, dry surface and follow vehicle safety regulations when positioning the device. Regularly check the mounting points for wear and re-adhere or replace components if the holder shows signs of reduced grip. Avoid placing the holder where it obstructs airbags or the driver’s view; use the device only when it is safe and legal to do so while driving.
