Patchpanel CAT6 θωρακισμένο 24 Ports με κάλυμμα ACT PP1012

The ACT Patchpanel CAT6 shielded 24 ports with cover is a rack-mountable networking panel designed for structured cabling systems in offices, server rooms and data centers. It provides twenty-four RJ45 ports that accept Cat6 cable connections and features a full metallic shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference. The included black cover protects terminated cables and contributes to a neat, organised installation while helping to maintain signal integrity for high-speed Ethernet links.

Advantages

The shielded design minimises crosstalk and external interference, improving reliability for gigabit and multi-gigabit networks. With 24 ports, the patch panel supports consolidated cable management and easier moves, adds, and changes. The robust metal construction and protective cover increase mechanical durability and keep connections clean and accessible. The panel's compatibility with Cat6 cabling ensures it meets common performance requirements for modern LAN deployments.

Suitable for

• Office local area networks requiring Cat6 performance
• Data centers and server rooms with rack-mounted patching needs
• Structured cabling installations where shielding is needed to reduce interference
• Telecommunications closets and network distribution frames

Key specifications

• Ports: 24 RJ45 ports supporting Cat6 connections
• Shielding: Full metal shielded design for EMI/RFI protection
• Form factor: 19-inch rack mount compatible
• Colour: Black protective cover and panel finish
• Material: Metal construction for chassis and shielding

How to use

Install the patch panel into a standard 19-inch rack or cabinet using appropriate mounting hardware. Terminate Cat6 cables on the rear IDC or keystone modules according to T568A or T568B wiring standards, ensuring correct pair alignment and proper cable shielding termination to the panel chassis. Route cables neatly under the cover and secure them to strain-relief points to prevent mechanical stress on the terminations. Connect front-panel RJ45 ports to active switches or patch cords for network distribution.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use certified Cat6 cable and maintain consistent wiring standards across the installation. Ensure the panel is properly grounded to make the shielding effective and reduce potential interference. Perform continuity and certification testing after termination to verify signal integrity and correct pinouts before putting the network into production.
