Patch panel Rutenbeck Basic Line 2280303120, 12 Ports, κουτί διανομής οπτικών ινών/συγκόλλησης

Rutenbeck Basic Line 2280303120 is a compact 12-port fiber splice and patch distribution box designed for organized termination and protection of optical fibers in indoor network installations. The unit provides space for up to twelve terminations or splice points and offers cable routing channels and protective housing to reduce mechanical stress on fibers. Its compact footprint makes it suitable for telecommunication closets, distribution points and residential or commercial LAN termination sites.

Advantages

The distribution box secures fiber splices and terminations inside a dust-resistant enclosure that simplifies cable management and reduces the risk of fiber damage. Designed for straightforward installation, the box supports clean routing of incoming and outgoing fiber lines and ensures stable protection of splice points. Its 12-port capacity balances space efficiency with enough ports for small to medium fiber runs.

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the distribution box at the planned network point using appropriate screws or mounting hardware. Route the incoming and outgoing fiber cables through the designated entry points and secure them with strain relief where provided. Prepare fibers according to established fiber optic termination and splicing procedures, place splices or terminations into the internal holders, and arrange excess fiber in the internal routing channels to avoid tight bends. Close the enclosure to maintain protection and label ports as required for future identification.

Recommendations

Use only trained personnel for fiber preparation, splicing and termination to ensure optical performance and safety. Maintain bend radius limits for all fibers, keep the enclosure clean during installation, and follow local cabling standards for grounding and cable entry. Periodic inspection of connections and protective elements is recommended to sustain long-term performance.
