Patch panel EFB Elektronik BA71901L12OM4 1U LC OM4 γκρι

The EFB Elektronik BA71901L12OM4 1U LC OM4 grey patch panel is a rack-mounted distribution unit for fiber optic infrastructure. Designed for standard 19-inch racks, the unit provides six LC duplex ports in OM4 fibre standard and fits a 1U space with dimensions of 483 mm width, 44.5 mm height and 244 mm depth. The grey finish offers a subdued, professional appearance suitable for equipment rooms, server cabinets and telecommunications racks where OM4 multimode fibre links are required.

Advantages

This patch panel consolidates multiple LC OM4 fibre terminations into a compact 1U form factor, simplifying cable routing and rack organisation. Its standard rack width and shallow depth make it compatible with a wide range of cabinets and shallow enclosures. The use of LC connectors and OM4 multimode specification supports higher bandwidth links and dense port deployment in data centre and enterprise environments.

Suitable for

• Data centre fibre backbone and patching
• Telecommunications racks in offices and server rooms
• Structured cabling installations using OM4 multimode fibre
• Environments requiring compact 1U fibre distribution

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U rack-mount
• Connector type: LC (duplex)
• Fibre type compatibility: OM4 multimode
• Number of ports: 6
• Dimensions (W×H×D): 483 mm × 44.5 mm × 244 mm
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Install the patch panel into a standard 19-inch rack occupying a single U of rack space and secure it with appropriate rack screws. Terminate or connect OM4 multimode fibre cables to the LC ports, ensuring proper polarity and connector cleanliness. Route incoming and outgoing fibre cabling neatly using cable management accessories to avoid excessive bending; maintain the manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius for OM4 fibre. Label ports as required for easy identification and future maintenance.

Recommendations

Before connecting fibres, inspect and, if necessary, clean LC connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Use patch cords and backbone cables that meet OM4 specifications to preserve link performance. For installations in high-density racks, combine the panel with vertical or horizontal cable managers to reduce stress on connectors and allow tidy routing.
