Πάνελ υποδοχής δίσκου Icy Dock MB994SK-1B

The Icy Dock ToughArmor MB994SK-1B is a 5.25" drive bay panel that holds up to four 2.5" SATA or SAS HDD/SSD (7mm–15mm). Designed for industrial, medical, and military environments, the unit combines a full-metal enclosure, individual bay locks, and active cooling to protect sensitive data and ensure continuous operation. It supports hot-swap drive replacement and can be used in JBOD or RAID setups when paired with a RAID controller.

Advantages

The MB994SK-1B features heavy-duty full metal construction that helps dissipate heat and meets common flammability expectations for demanding environments. Each bay includes a built-in steel locking mechanism integrated into the EZ Slide Mini tray to provide an additional layer of physical security. Dual 40mm fans and ventilation slots on the front and rear provide constant airflow for drive cooling. The tray system supports easy hot-swap access and is backward compatible with other ToughArmor EZ Slide Mini trays.

Suitable for

• Industrial PCs and servers
• Medical and military systems
• Embedded control systems and factory automation
• Compact RAID arrays and media servers

How to use

Install the MB994SK-1B into a 5.25" device bay following your system's chassis instructions. Insert 2.5" drives (7mm–15mm) into the EZ Slide Mini trays, secure with the tray cover, slide the tray into the bay until it locks, and connect the appropriate SATA or SAS cables to the backplane or controller. Use the individual tray locks to restrict access to specific drives if required. The dual fans operate automatically to provide cooling during operation.

Recommendations

For reliable operation in industrial or mission-critical systems, ensure proper chassis airflow and verify compatibility with your RAID controller or backplane. Use the key locks to limit physical access to sensitive drives and perform regular backups when configuring RAID arrays for data protection.
