Key specifications

• Type: BNC 12G male crimp connector
• Model: MicroConnect BNC-HDSDI-PLUG (MPN: BNC-HDSDI-PLUG)
• Application: HD-SDI coaxial signal transmission
• EAN: 5715063475416

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid, dielectric, and inner conductor to the recommended lengths for the crimp connector. Insert the cable into the connector body so the center conductor seats in the pin and the braid makes contact with the body. Use the appropriate crimp tool and die for the connector size to crimp the ferrule and secure the assembly. Verify electrical continuity and mechanical stability after crimping.

Recommendations

Use the connector with cable types and impedances specified for HD-SDI systems (typically 75 Ω). Select a compatible crimp tool and dies, and perform a continuity/shield test after installation. Replace connectors showing corrosion or mechanical damage to maintain signal integrity.
