Ομοαξονικός σύνδεσμος IEC ShiverPeaks BS82001-1

The ShiverPeaks BS82001-1 is an IEC coaxial male connector designed to provide reliable RF connections for audio and video applications. Sold as a single-piece component, this connector supports standard coaxial cable interfaces and is intended for use where stable signal transmission and straightforward installation are required. The design emphasizes electrical contact quality and mechanical durability to suit both professional installations and home AV setups.

Advantages

This male IEC coaxial connector delivers consistent electrical contact and low-loss signal transfer for standard RF and antenna connections. Its single-piece form factor simplifies replacement or installation in devices and cable assemblies. The connector is built to withstand frequent mating cycles and typical mechanical stresses encountered in AV and broadcast environments, while remaining compact and compatible with common coaxial cable types.

Suitable for

• Connecting televisions and set-top boxes to antenna or RF sources
• AV equipment repairs and custom cable assemblies
• Replacing worn or damaged IEC coaxial male connectors
• Home audio/video and small-scale broadcast signal routing

Key specifications

• Connector type: IEC male coaxial connector
• Unit quantity: single piece
• Application: RF/antenna, audio-video signal transmission
• Mechanical characteristics: designed for repeated mating cycles and standard cable retention
• Compatibility: standard coaxial cable interfaces for consumer and professional equipment

How to use

Align the male IEC coaxial connector with the corresponding female socket on the device or cable assembly and press until the connector is fully seated and secure. For replacement tasks, detach the existing connector following safe de-soldering or cable-disconnection practices, then install the ShiverPeaks male connector ensuring proper conductor and shield placement. Verify the connection visually and by testing the signal path to confirm low-loss transmission and correct mechanical fit.

Recommendations

Use appropriate strain relief and cable management to reduce mechanical stress on the connector. Avoid excessive force when mating or unmating to preserve contact integrity. Check continuity and signal quality after installation; if soldering is required, use suitable flux and soldering technique to ensure reliable electrical contact.
