Ομοαξονικός σύνδεσμος F-Typ ShiverPeaks BS85009-AG

The ShiverPeaks BS85009-AG is an F-type coaxial connector designed to provide a secure, low-loss connection for audio-visual and RF installations. The connector is a male F-type with a 6.7 mm outer diameter intended for use with compatible coaxial cables. Sold singly, this part supports straightforward installation and is suitable for repairs, upgrades, and new cable runs where a reliable coaxial interface is needed.

Advantages

This F-type connector offers a compact, threaded male design that ensures mechanical stability and consistent electrical contact. Its 6.7 mm diameter provides compatibility with many standard coaxial cables, while the single-piece supply makes it easy to obtain the exact number of connectors needed for specific projects. The connector is suitable for indoor use in home entertainment systems, set-top boxes, and antenna connections where predictable signal performance is required.

Suitable for

• Connecting TV antennas and set-top boxes
• Cable runs for satellite and terrestrial TV
• Repairing or replacing damaged coaxial terminations
• Home entertainment and AV equipment installations

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type, male threaded
• Outer diameter: 6.7 mm
• Intended use: coaxial cable terminations for RF and AV signals
• Quantity: sold individually
• Typical applications: TV, satellite, antenna and set-top box connections

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid, and dielectric according to the cable manufacturer’s recommended dimensions to expose the center conductor and ensure a clean fit. Slide the connector onto the prepared cable end and engage the threaded interface by hand, then tighten securely using an appropriate tool to avoid over-torquing. Verify the connection is firm and that the center conductor is properly aligned for signal continuity. For installations involving signal distribution equipment, test the connected device to confirm acceptable signal levels.

Recommendations

Use compatible coaxial cables with matching geometry to maintain impedance and minimize signal loss. Avoid excessive bending near the connector and protect outdoor connections from moisture with appropriate sealing. When replacing connectors, confirm cable preparation dimensions and use a calibrated torque or hand-tighten to a secure fit to prevent damage to equipment or signal degradation.
