Ομοαξονικός σύνδεσμος F-Typ ShiverPeaks BS85009-2R

The ShiverPeaks BS85009-2R is an F-type male coaxial connector designed for reliable audio/video and data signal transmission. With a 6.7 mm diameter male pin and a single-piece configuration, this connector offers a compact solution for terminating coaxial cables used in home entertainment systems, satellite or terrestrial TV installations, and broadband connections. The connector is engineered to provide secure mechanical coupling and consistent electrical contact for stable signal quality.

Advantages

This F-type connector provides a secure threaded connection that reduces signal loss and improves long-term mechanical stability. Its standardized male 6.7 mm diameter ensures compatibility with typical F-type female sockets and devices. The single-piece design simplifies installation and reduces potential points of failure, while materials and construction support consistent conductivity and durability under normal residential and light professional use.

Suitable for

• Connecting coaxial cables to TV tuners, set-top boxes and satellite receivers
• Home and office broadband cable terminations
• Replacement of worn or damaged F-type connectors on coaxial leads
• Audio/video distribution systems and antenna installations

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type male
• Pin/mating diameter: 6.7 mm
• Configuration: single-piece connector
• Application: coaxial cable termination for RF signal transmission
• Use environment: indoor residential and light commercial installations

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid and dielectric to the recommended lengths for an F-type termination. Slide the connector onto the cable end so that the central conductor protrudes through the male pin and the braid makes contact with the connector body. Tighten the threaded coupling to mate securely with the female socket; hand-tightening followed by a quarter-turn with a suitable wrench is typically sufficient to ensure a stable connection. Verify signal continuity and check for loose strands that could cause shorts.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the connector with coaxial cables that match the connector's form factor and impedance. Avoid overtightening to prevent damage to connectors and device sockets, and inspect connections periodically for corrosion or wear in environments with high humidity or salt exposure.
