Ομοαξονικό βύσμα F-Typ ShiverPeaks BS85012-A

The ShiverPeaks BS85012-A F-type coaxial connector is a single male connector designed for reliable signal connections in coaxial cable systems. With a 7.5 mm outer diameter and a compact, single-piece design sold individually, this connector is suitable for installations where a standard F-type male termination is required. It is intended to provide consistent contact and minimal signal loss when mated with compatible female F-type ports and cables.

Advantages

This F-type connector offers a standardized male interface that supports stable mechanical coupling and electrical contact. Its 7.5 mm diameter supports compatibility with common coaxial cable assemblies and device ports. Sold as an individual unit, it allows precise replacement or single-point installation without excess parts. The connector is designed for straightforward fitting, promoting reliable signal transmission and reduced risk of intermittent connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting television or set-top box coaxial cables to wall outlets and tuners
• Joining satellite LNB and receiver coaxial leads where an F-type male is required
• Repairing or replacing damaged male terminations on coaxial assemblies
• Small installation or maintenance tasks that require single connectors

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type, male
• Outer diameter: 7.5 mm
• Quantity: single unit (sold individually)
• Contact form: threaded mechanical coupling for secure mating
• Material characteristics: metal conductor and body for conductive connection (specific plating and alloys depend on manufacturer)

How to use

Strip the coaxial cable to the appropriate lengths for dielectric and conductor exposure according to the cable manufacturer’s instructions. Slide the connector onto the prepared cable end, ensuring the central conductor seats in the male pin area and the outer conductor contacts the threaded body. Tighten the connector onto the mating female F-type port by hand and, if necessary, use a suitable wrench or connector tool to secure a firm, but not over-tightened, connection. Verify signal integrity after installation by checking the connected device for expected input or signal levels.

Recommendations

Ensure cable preparation follows the cable specifications and use proper tools to avoid damaging the conductor or dielectric. For outdoor or harsh-environment installations, use additional environmental protection such as weatherproofing boots or sealing tape; for best results pair with compatible low-loss coaxial cable and properly matched female F-type ports.
