Ομοαξονικό καλώδιο RG-59/U 15 m ShiverPeaks SP80098-15

The ShiverPeaks SP80098-15 is a 15-meter RG-59/U coaxial cable equipped with F-type connectors on both ends. Designed for audio-visual signal transmission, this cable provides a balanced combination of length and shielding suitable for indoor installations where a compact-diameter coaxial solution is required. The cable construction reduces interference and maintains signal integrity over moderate distances, enabling reliable connections between televisions, satellite receivers, set-top boxes and other RF-driven devices.

Advantages

This RG-59/U cable offers consistent impedance and low insertion loss for its category, helping to preserve picture and sound quality. F-type connectors on both ends provide secure screw-on connections that resist loosening and ensure stable contact. The cable’s durable outer jacket protects internal shielding and dielectric from mechanical wear and bending during installation and routine use. Its 15 m length allows flexible placement of devices without the need for additional joins or adapters.

Suitable for

• Connecting televisions to set-top boxes or cable outlets
• Linking satellite receivers to indoor distribution equipment
• Short- to medium-distance CCTV camera signal runs where RG-59 is specified
• Home AV systems and legacy RF devices requiring F-type connectors

Key specifications

• Cable type: RG-59/U coaxial
• Length: 15 meters
• Connector type: F-type male on both ends
• Impedance: 75 ohm characteristic
• Construction: central conductor, dielectric insulator, shielding and protective outer jacket
• Typical use: analogue and digital RF signal transmission for audio/video equipment

How to use

Strip the cable ends only if connectors are not pre-attached; this model comes with F-type connectors already fitted, so simply screw each connector onto the device’s RF input or output until hand-tight. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinching; maintain a minimum bend radius consistent with coaxial cables to prevent damage to the internal conductor and dielectric. For installations passing through walls or tight spaces, use appropriate grommets or conduit to protect the jacket and maintain signal performance.

Recommendations

For best results, avoid running the coaxial cable parallel to mains power cables for long distances to reduce potential interference. If longer runs or higher-frequency distribution are required, consider using a higher-specification cable (e.g., RG-6) or active signal amplification. Inspect connectors periodically for corrosion or looseness, and replace the cable if the jacket is cracked or shielding appears compromised.
