Network Switch Renkforce 001377754 – 5 θυρών Gigabit (1 Gbit/s) unmanaged

The Renkforce Network Switch 001377754 — 5‑port Gigabit (1 Gbps) unmanaged is a compact desktop Ethernet switch that expands wired LAN capacity with five 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ‑45 ports. Designed for small offices, home offices and residential networks, the device offers plug‑and‑play operation without configuration, auto MDI/MDIX on each port and energy‑efficient features to reduce power consumption during low activity.

Advantages

This unmanaged 5‑port Gigabit switch delivers consistent wired throughput across multiple devices, enabling simultaneous file transfers and media streaming at 1 Gbps where supported. Its fanless, compact design minimises noise and fits on a desk or shelf. Auto negotiation and auto MDI/MDIX eliminate manual setup and cable type concerns, while VLAN‑independent switching ensures simple connectivity between PCs, printers and network storage.

Suitable for

• Expanding a home LAN to add additional wired devices
• Small office networks requiring stable Gigabit links for PCs and printers
• Connecting NAS, media players and smart home gateways to the wired network
• Temporary or fixed workstation setups that need plug‑and‑play Ethernet ports

Key specifications

• Number of ports: 5 RJ‑45 Gigabit ports (10/100/1000 Mbps)
• Operation: Unmanaged, plug‑and‑play
• Auto features: Auto MDI/MDIX and auto negotiation per port
• Throughput: Wire‑speed switching for Gigabit connections
• Design: Compact, fanless desktop housing
• Power: External power adapter (low power consumption)

How to use

Place the switch on a stable surface near your router or network backbone and connect its power adapter. Use standard CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cables to connect computers, printers and NAS devices to the RJ‑45 ports. The device requires no configuration; connected devices obtain network access through the router or DHCP server on the network. Link/activity LEDs indicate port status and help identify active connections.

Recommendations

For best performance, use CAT5e or CAT6 cables for Gigabit links, position the switch in a ventilated area to avoid heat buildup, and connect the switch to your main router or gateway to enable DHCP and internet access for attached devices.
