NETGEAR MS305E Unmanaged 2.5G Ethernet (100/1000/2500) Μαύρο

The NETGEAR MS305E Unmanaged 2.5G Ethernet Switch is a compact, five-port multi-gigabit switch delivering up to 2.5 Gbps per port and a non-blocking 25 Gbps switching fabric. Designed for small offices and home networks, this unmanaged switch supports 100/1000/2500 Mbps auto-negotiation over RJ-45 ports and implements Energy Efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) for reduced power consumption. Its fanless design allows silent operation, and the unit can be placed on a desktop or mounted to a wall using the included hardware.

Advantages

The switch provides dedicated, non-blocking bandwidth for each of its five 2.5G Ethernet ports, ensuring congestion-free connectivity for connected devices. Auto-negotiation automatically selects the highest common speed between the switch and end devices. The fanless construction enables quiet operation in noise-sensitive environments, while Energy Efficient Ethernet lowers power use during light traffic or idle links. Compact black housing and versatile mounting options simplify installation in various locations.

Suitable for

• Small office networks requiring multi-gigabit uplinks or desktop connections
• Home offices and media streaming setups needing higher-than-gigabit speeds
• Connecting access points, NAS, PCs, and workstations that support 2.5G

How to use

Place the NETGEAR MS305E on a stable surface or mount it to a wall with the supplied mounting kit. Connect devices using standard Ethernet cables to any of the five RJ-45 ports; the switch will auto-negotiate the highest supported speed (100/1000/2500 Mbps). No configuration is required for basic use—simply connect power and network cables and devices will communicate through the non-blocking switching fabric.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use quality Cat5e or Cat6 cables to support 2.5G links, keep the switch in a well-ventilated area despite its fanless design, and position it close to connected devices to minimize cable runs and latency.
