NETGEAR GS348PP Unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000) Power over Ethernet (PoE) μαύρο

The NETGEAR GS348PP is an unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch with 48 RJ-45 ports and optional Power over Ethernet (PoE) to supply data and power over a single CAT-5/CAT-6 cable. Designed for small offices and home offices, the GS348PP offers full-duplex switching, a MAC address table of 8000 entries and a switching capacity of 96 Gbit/s in a metal enclosure suitable for rack mounting or desktop placement.

Advantages

This unmanaged switch delivers wire-speed performance with a non-blocking switching architecture and auto-negotiation to establish the highest common speed with connected devices. It supports energy-efficient Ethernet (IEEE 802.3az) to reduce power consumption, has Auto-MDI/MDIX that removes the need for crossover cables, and features a fanless design for silent operation. PoE support (IEEE 802.3at) enables powering IP cameras, VoIP phones and wireless access points directly through the Ethernet ports.

Suitable for

• Small office / home office network expansion
• Providing PoE to IP security cameras and access points
• Connecting multiple Gigabit devices in a rack or on a desktop

How to use

Install the GS348PP on a desktop, wall or rack mount according to your workspace. Connect your network devices to the RJ-45 ports using Cat5e/Cat6 cables; the switch will automatically negotiate speed and duplex with each device. If using PoE devices, connect them to the PoE-capable ports to supply both power and data through the same cable. No configuration is required for basic operation—this switch is plug-and-play.

Recommendations

Place the switch in a well-ventilated, dry location and use quality Ethernet cables (Cat5e or higher). For deployments with many PoE devices, verify total PoE budget and distribute high-power devices across ports to avoid exceeding the switch's power capacity.
