MSR PocketRocket κάμπινγκ γκαζάκι

The MSR PocketRocket stands out as one of the smallest and lightest canister stoves ever made, yet it delivers a surprisingly powerful flame that boils a litre of water in just over three minutes. Unlike bulkier camp stoves that sacrifice pack space, this model folds down to roughly the size of a matchbox and tucks into its own hard-shell case, making it a favourite among ultralight backpackers and alpine climbers who count every gram.

Highlights

• Ultra-compact: packed dimensions of just 8.4 x 4.3 x 4.4 cm
• Powerful output: 8200 BTU/h (2.4 kW) for fast boiling
• Precise flame control with a fine-tune regulator
• WindClip™ integrated design improves performance in breezy conditions
• Foldable serrated pot supports grip cookware securely
• Includes a durable hard-shell carry case
• Made in the USA from stainless steel, aluminium, and brass

In daily use

The PocketRocket screws directly onto any standard isobutane-propane canister and lights with a match or lighter—no piezo igniter to fail. Its foldable pot supports expand to hold pots and mugs up to about 2 litres, while the serrated edges keep them from sliding. The flame control is impressively precise, allowing you to simmer sauces or crank the heat for a rapid boil. In windy conditions, the WindClip™ shield helps maintain efficiency, though a separate windscreen is still recommended for extreme gusts. With a 227 g canister, expect roughly 60 minutes of burn time or enough fuel to boil about 16 litres of water—plenty for a weekend solo trip.
