MPO-MPO Multimode Patchkabel BlueOptics CB-M12-M12-MMF2M 2 μέτρα

The BlueOptics CB-M12-M12-MMF2M is an MPO-MPO multimode patch cable with a 2 meter length, engineered for high-speed data transmission in structured networks. Constructed with OM4 multimode fiber, this cable supports increased bandwidth and reliable signal integrity across short to medium distance links. Its MPO-to-MPO terminations allow parallel optical connections used in modern data center and enterprise cabling systems.

Advantages

This OM4 multimode cable provides higher modal bandwidth compared with lower-grade multimode fibers, enabling better performance for 10G, 40G and 100G parallel links where MPO connectivity is required. The 2 m length balances flexibility and minimal signal loss for intra-rack and inter-rack connections. Robust MPO connectors ensure consistent mating and reduced insertion loss, while the multimode construction eases alignment tolerance for dense optical arrays.

How to use

Inspect both MPO connector ends and corresponding equipment ports to ensure they are clean and free from dust before installation. Align the MPO connectors with the device or cassette receptacles and insert until a tactile click confirms secure mating. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius to prevent increased insertion loss. For multiple-fiber arrays, verify polarity and channel mapping according to your network design to ensure correct signal routing.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fiber cleaning tools before each connection and secure the cable with cable management accessories to maintain bend radius and reduce mechanical stress. For installations supporting 40G or 100G, confirm that transceivers and patch panels are MPO-compatible and that OM4 performance meets link budget requirements.
