Μονάδα πομποδέκτη οπτικών ινών PLANET MGB-LB20

The PLANET MGB-LB20 is an SFP fiber optic transceiver module engineered for 1000BASE-LX single-mode applications. Operating at a wavelength of 1550 nm, this hot-pluggable SFP module follows the SFP MSA standard and provides reliable duplex data transmission over single-mode fiber for long-distance links up to the limits supported by 1550 nm LX optics.

Advantages

The MGB-LB20 offers hot-pluggable installation compatible with SFP MSA ports, support for 1000 Mbit/s Gigabit Ethernet, and operation on single-mode fiber at 1550 nm for extended reach. It is suitable for integration with PLANET switches and other SFP-compliant equipment and is produced to operate reliably in demanding industrial environments when used within specified temperature ranges.

Suitable for

• Long-distance Gigabit Ethernet links over single-mode fiber
• Upgrading SFP ports on PLANET switches and other compatible network devices
• Backhaul and uplink connections between network cabinets or sites

How to use

Power down is not required for installation; insert the MGB-LB20 into an available SFP port on a compatible switch or network device until it clicks into place. Connect the single-mode fiber cable (LC connector as required by the host port) and verify link status through the host device management interface or LED indicators. Configure the host port for 1000BASE-LX operation if manual settings are required.

Recommendations

Use single-mode fiber with appropriate LC connectors and ensure transceiver compatibility with the host device firmware. Follow fiber handling best practices, avoid excessive bending, and operate the module within manufacturer-specified temperature ranges to ensure reliable long-distance performance.
