Μονάδα πλήκτρων VoIP Unify OpenScape Key Modul 710 KM710 — Μονάδα επέκτασης για τηλέφωνα OpenScape

The Unify OpenScape Key Modul 710 (KM710) is a VoIP key extension unit that adds programmable physical keys to compatible OpenScape phones. Designed for use with Unify desk phones, the module expands line appearances and dedicated function keys to simplify call handling and speed up common telephony tasks. The compact extension connects to supported OpenScape handsets to provide additional buttons for speed dials, busy lamp field (BLF) monitoring and one-touch feature access while maintaining consistent operation with the phone’s native interface.

Advantages

The KM710 increases a phone’s key capacity without changing the core handset, allowing users to manage more lines and monitored extensions from a single workstation. Physical programmable keys provide tactile feedback for quick operation and reduce reliance on on-screen menus. Integration with OpenScape phones preserves existing call features and presence monitoring, while the modular design enables straightforward installation and an orderly desktop footprint.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Reception desks and front-office call handling where fast transfer and line monitoring are required
• Contact center agents or small teams needing additional programmable keys for speed dials and BLF
• Office users who manage multiple lines, hunt groups or shared extensions
• Administrative staff who require quick access to common telephony functions and presence indicators

Key specifications

• Compatibility: Designed for supported Unify OpenScape desk phones (verify model compatibility before purchase)
• Functionality: Adds multiple programmable physical keys for speed dial, BLF and feature access
• Interface: Direct connection to compatible OpenScape handsets (no separate power adapter required when connected per phone documentation)
• Form factor: Compact extension module intended for desktop mounting alongside the phone
• Operation: Works with the phone’s native user interface and firmware-controlled key assignments

How to use

Attach the KM710 to a supported OpenScape phone following the phone manufacturer’s connection instructions. After physical installation, configure the additional keys via the phone’s settings or the central telephony administration interface to assign speed dials, BLF monitoring or other programmable features. Ensure the phone firmware is at a supported version and that system provisioning is updated so the extension unit and its keys are recognized correctly. Test assigned keys for line appearance, transfer and presence indications before putting the device into daily use.

Recommendations

Place the key module within easy reach of the primary handset user and label frequently used programmable keys for quick recognition. For multi-user deployments, coordinate key assignments centrally to avoid conflicts and ensure consistent BLF monitoring. Regularly check firmware compatibility and provisioning settings after phone system updates to maintain full functionality.
