Μονάδα IR LED Mobotix Mx-F-IRA-W

The Mobotix Mx-F-IRA-W is an infrared (IR) LED illumination unit designed for universal placement and integration with surveillance cameras. Finished in a white housing and supplied as a single unit, this IR LED unit provides targeted illumination to improve camera performance in low-light and no-light conditions. Built for robustness and continuous operation, it is intended to extend the effective imaging range of compatible video systems and help produce clearer monochrome images when ambient light is insufficient.

Advantages

The Mx-F-IRA-W improves scene visibility in darkness by emitting IR light that is invisible to the human eye but enhances camera sensitivity, enabling better image capture without additional visible lighting. Its compact, white enclosure supports discreet mounting and integration into various installation environments. Supplied as a single unit, it is straightforward to install alongside cameras to provide consistent illumination where needed. The unit is built to withstand typical surveillance installation conditions and to operate reliably for extended periods.

Suitable for

• Supplementing surveillance cameras in low-light or no-light areas
• Perimeter and access control monitoring
• Indoor and outdoor camera installations requiring discreet IR illumination
• Locations where visible lighting is undesirable or impractical

Key specifications

• Function: External IR LED illumination unit for surveillance
• Color / Finish: White housing for discreet installation
• Supply: Sold as a single unit
• Primary benefit: Enhances camera sensitivity in low-light and no-light conditions
• Construction: Designed for robustness suitable for surveillance environments

How to use

Mount the IR LED unit near the camera so its illumination covers the desired field of view without causing reflections from nearby surfaces or protective domes. Connect the unit according to the camera and illumination system requirements, observing correct power and control interfaces as specified by the camera manufacturer. Aim and adjust alignment to ensure the IR output evenly illuminates the scene; test with the camera in night mode to verify coverage and adjust position as needed. Ensure secure fastening and appropriate environmental sealing where required by the installation site.

Recommendations

Install the IR unit with attention to avoiding direct reflections into the camera lens, and verify compatibility with the camera’s IR sensitivity and power specifications. For best results, test illumination patterns at night and adjust placement to achieve uniform scene lighting while minimizing spill onto non-critical areas.
