Harting connector insert 09320103001 is a single-piece contact insert engineered for use inside rectangular industrial connector housings. It provides the internal contact element that establishes secure electrical connections between mating connectors when installed into compatible Harting rectangular housings. The insert is intended for assembly into modular and standard rectangular enclosures used in machine wiring, control cabinets and other industrial equipment where a compact contact arrangement is required.

Advantages

The single-piece design simplifies installation and reduces the number of separate contact components to handle during assembly. Manufactured to Harting dimensional and contact standards, the insert ensures consistent alignment and reliable contact pressure when paired with matching housings and mating parts. Its construction supports repeated mating cycles typical for industrial applications and helps maintain electrical continuity under mechanical vibration and typical industrial environmental conditions.

Suitable for

• Electrical connections inside rectangular Harting housings for industrial equipment
• Control cabinet wiring and panel-mounted connector assemblies
• Machine tool and automation system interconnects
• Repair or replacement of worn or damaged connector internals

Key specifications

• Type: single-piece contact insert for rectangular housings
• Contact arrangement: internal contact element for mating connector pairs
• Application environment: industrial, panel and machine wiring
• Mechanical compatibility: fits corresponding rectangular connector housings from the same product family

How to use

Install the connector insert by aligning it with the receiving cavity inside the compatible rectangular housing and press it into place until it seats securely. Ensure the insert is oriented correctly so that its contacts align with the mating connector and cable terminations. After insertion, assemble the housing halves or secure the housing to the panel following the connector housing manufacturer's instructions. Verify contact continuity and proper mating before applying operating voltage.

Recommendations

Use this Harting single-piece insert only in housings and with mating contacts specified by the same connector family to ensure correct fit and electrical performance. During installation, avoid deforming contact elements and follow standard ESD and safety procedures when handling live or sensitive circuits.
