The Bachmann 333.408 Power Distribution Unit is a compact 1U rack-mountable device that provides eight AC outlets (C13 couplers) for organized power distribution in server racks and IT cabinets. Designed for environments that require reliable, space-saving power management, the unit features a 2 meter fixed cable, supports a nominal input voltage of 230 V and operates at 50 Hz with a maximum current rating of 10 A. Available in black, grey and silver finishes, the PDU combines a low-profile form factor with essential outlet capacity for small to medium rack deployments.

Advantages

The PDU's 1U format allows for efficient use of rack space while providing eight C13 outlets for multiple devices. A fixed 2 m cable simplifies installation behind racks where proximity to power sources varies. With a rated nominal voltage of 230 V and a maximum current of 10 A, the unit is suitable for standard European IT power environments. The simple, robust design and choice of three finishes support integration into different rack styles without additional accessories.

Suitable for

• Small server racks and network cabinets
• Edge computing and telecommunication enclosures
• Workstation clusters and lab equipment racks
• Audio/video distribution racks with C13-powered devices

Key specifications

• Form factor: 1U rack-mountable
• Number of AC outlets: 8 (C13 couplers)

How to use

Mount the PDU in a standard 19-inch rack using the 1U space and secure it with appropriate screws or mounting brackets. Route the fixed 2 m cable to a compatible mains outlet and connect the supply. Plug C13-equipped devices into the eight outlets, ensuring that the combined load does not exceed the maximum current rating of 10 A. For optimal airflow and cooling, avoid blocking ventilation paths within the rack and distribute connected loads across available outlets to minimize localized heating.
