The Brennenstuhl BSV 5-32A 9 AC Outlets Black is a heavy-duty power distribution unit designed for reliable electrical distribution in demanding environments. Constructed with durable plastic and rubber housing and equipped with a 2 m H07RN-F 5G6.0 cable, this unit provides multiple AC outlets while offering mechanical protection and basic environmental sealing. Rated for a maximum current of 32 A and a nominal input voltage of 400 V, the device includes an integrated input fuse to help protect connected equipment from overloads.

Advantages

The unit combines robust mechanical construction with an IP44 protection rating, offering resistance against dust ingress and splashing water. Its 9 AC outlets allow simultaneous connection of several devices, while the heavy-gauge H07RN-F cable supports high-current applications. The integrated input fuse increases operational safety by providing overcurrent protection without the need for additional external components. The compact, portable form factor and universal outlet layout make placement flexible for workshop, construction site, or event use.

Suitable for

• Temporary power distribution on construction sites and workshops
• Power supply for multiple tools and machines in industrial environments
• Event and stage power distribution requiring robust cabling and protection
• Outdoor or semi-outdoor installations where splash protection is needed

Key specifications

• Number of AC outlets: 9
• Maximum current: 32 A
• Nominal input voltage: 400 V
• Cable type and length: H07RN-F 5G6.0, 2 m
• Enclosure material: durable plastic with rubber elements
• Protection rating: IP44 (splash and dust protection)
• Integrated input fuse for overcurrent protection

How to use

Place the distribution unit on a stable surface or mount it according to site requirements, ensuring the enclosure remains protected from direct heavy water exposure despite its IP44 rating. Connect the input plug to a compatible three-phase or single-phase supply matching the unit's nominal voltage and observe local electrical safety regulations. Plug appliances into the AC outlets up to the maximum combined current capacity and monitor the input fuse status; replace the fuse only with the correct type and rating specified by the manufacturer. Regularly inspect cable condition, outlets, and housing for wear or damage before use.

Recommendations

For safe operation, avoid exceeding the 32 A maximum current. Use the unit on level, non-flammable surfaces, keep it away from prolonged exposure to heavy rain, and ensure connections are made by qualified personnel when used in industrial or permanent installations.
