The Omnitronic 10006879 is a compact 3-channel audio mixer designed for small-scale live sound and recording applications. It covers a wide audible frequency range from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz and delivers a microphone signal-to-noise ratio of 75 dB with total harmonic distortion rated at 0.07%. The unit operates from a 230 V AC, 50 Hz supply and has a low power consumption of 4 W. Its small footprint—172 mm wide, 260 mm deep and 78 mm high—allows placement on desktop surfaces or in tight rack spaces where a straightforward mixing solution is needed.

Advantages

Designed for clarity and reliability, the mixer provides low distortion and a high signal-to-noise ratio for clean microphone and line-level signals. Its three-channel layout simplifies routing and basic mixing tasks while keeping controls accessible. The combination of broad frequency response and modest power demand makes the unit suitable for continuous operation in rehearsal rooms, small venues, or home studios. The compact dimensions ensure easy transport and integration into existing setups without requiring significant space.

How to use

Place the mixer on a stable surface and connect it to a 230 V AC, 50 Hz mains supply. Connect microphones and line-level sources to the appropriate inputs and route outputs to amplifiers, powered speakers, or recording devices. Use the channel controls to set gain, balance and level for each source, and monitor output levels to avoid clipping. Make incremental adjustments while listening through the PA or monitoring system to achieve a balanced mix across the three channels.

Recommendations

For best results, use quality microphone cables and set input gains conservatively to preserve the high signal-to-noise ratio. Allow adequate ventilation around the unit during prolonged operation, and avoid placing the mixer near strong electromagnetic sources to minimize interference.
