Microconnect FIB422002-2 Καλώδιο InfiniBand/οπτικών ινών 2 m LC SC πορτοκαλί

The Microconnect FIB422002-2 is a 2 m OM2 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC and SC connectors. It has a 50/125 µm core/cladding diameter and is designed for full-duplex data transmission. The cable is orange for easy identification and is suited for network cabling in data centres, enterprise networks, telecom rooms and server farms.

Advantages

This OM2 patch cord is optically tested for insertion loss to ensure consistent performance and is manufactured using LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket material. The cable conforms to IEC, EIA/TIA or Telcordia standards, providing compatibility with standard multimode fibre installations while remaining cost-effective for larger deployments.

Suitable for

• Data centre interconnects
• Enterprise network links
• Telecom room and rack cabling
• Server farm and cloud storage connections

Key specifications

• Model: Microconnect FIB422002-2
• Fibre type: OM2 multimode (50/125 µm)
• Length: 2 m
• Connectors: LC to SC
• Colour: Orange
• Jacket: LSZH
• Standards: IEC, EIA/TIA or Telcordia

How to use

Connect the LC and SC connectors to corresponding ports on networking equipment following standard fibre handling procedures. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to minimise insertion loss and inspect for proper seating. Use cable management to avoid tight bends and strain on the 2 m patch cable during installation.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, clean connectors with appropriate fibre cleaning tools, avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius, and store unused cables in protective reels or bags. Use this OM2 cable where multimode 50/125 µm transmission is required and where LSZH-rated jackets are specified.
