Key specifications

• Net weight: 13.5 kg
• Tool type: power earth auger for digging holes
• Construction: robust metal housing and drive components
• Intended use: gardening, landscaping and light construction
• Compatibility: designed to accept standard auger bits for varied hole diameters

How to use

Place the auger vertically at the chosen drilling point and ensure the work area is clear of underground utilities and obstructions. Secure a firm grip on the handles, start the engine or power unit according to the manufacturer's normal starting procedure, and apply steady downward pressure while allowing the auger bit to cut into the soil. Withdraw periodically to remove dislodged soil and avoid overheating. After completing the hole, stop the power unit, set the auger on stable ground, and inspect the bit and housing for debris or wear before storing.

Recommendations

Use protective equipment such as gloves, eye protection and appropriate footwear. Check soil conditions before use; in very rocky or root-dense ground select a suitable auger bit or consider pre-clearing. Regularly inspect moving parts, fasteners and the auger bit for wear, and follow routine maintenance to ensure consistent performance and safe operation.
